About the photographer

Forty-plus years behind a camera, and still finding new reasons to leave the house with it.

I began my photographic journey by learning how to develop film as a favor to my roommate, a photographer on our college newspaper. What started as a favor to help out a friend has become one of the biggest gifts of my life.

Decades later, photography still provides me with new ways to see and experience the world every time that I pick up my camera and head out the door. It’s all about keeping one’s eyes and mind open to seeing the possibilities.
